Google Ads
Paid search that pays for itself.
Managed search campaigns tuned for local demand, with every dollar accounted for and protected.
Ads are a faucet. We make sure it pours into a bucket without holes.
Google Ads can produce phone calls within days — that is its superpower and its trap. Run loose, it will happily spend your budget on searches that were never going to become jobs: wrong city, wrong service, tire-kickers, and job seekers.
Our management is built around eliminating waste. Tight keyword matching so you pay for buying intent, not curiosity. Negative keywords added continuously as search-term data comes in. Geography locked to your actual service area. And call tracking on everything, so budget decisions are made on cost-per-job, not clicks.
We manage bids in both directions — raising them where the data says you are underbidding on profitable terms, and lowering them where you are paying premium prices for traffic that converts the same at a lower position.
What management includes
- Account audit first — existing history is an asset, not a teardown
- Campaign structure matched to your services and margins
- Continuous search-term review and negative keyword additions
- Two-directional bid management driven by conversion data
- Ad copy tested and refreshed, never left to rot
- Call tracking with recordings, so lead quality is measurable
- Spend, calls, and cost-per-lead in your live dashboard
- Booked jobs and revenue reported back to Google Ads, so bidding learns which searches turn into high-ticket work — and you see ads-sourced average ticket next to cost per lead
Spend protection
Every dollar gets checked twice.
Once before the click, by the rules that decide who sees your ad. Once after, by the system that watches who actually arrived. Both run from our own platform, every day, not at report time.
Before the click: the waste review
Every search that triggered your ad is pulled into the dashboard and reviewed against what you sell and where. The ones that were never going to become jobs become negative keywords, continuously, so the same mistake is not paid for twice.
- Competitor names. People searching for another company by name are not shopping; they are looking for a phone number they already have. Those terms are excluded unless a conquesting campaign is deliberately running them.
- Wrong city, wrong service. Searches outside your service area, or for work you do not do, are negated — and a guard rail stops us from ever excluding a service you actually offer, including the odd spellings customers use for it.
- Job seekers, DIY, and price-shoppers. "Jobs," "hiring," "how to," "rental," "cheap" and their cousins are caught before they drain a month's budget.
- Keywords worth promoting. The reverse also happens: a search term that keeps converting is promoted into its own keyword so Google treats it as intent, not an accident.
- Geography and bids. Location targets are audited against the real service area; bids move both ways, up where you are under-bidding on profitable terms and down where position is bought at a premium for the same result.
After the click: Click Shield
A click is billed the moment it happens, so no tool can stop one. What ours does is make sure the same bad actor is never billed to you again. The plugin on your website records every visitor who arrives from an ad — the address, the device, how long they stayed, whether they scrolled or touched anything — and our rules run every fifteen minutes:
- The same address clicking your ads repeatedly inside a short window
- Traffic from hosting providers and VPN exits — servers, not customers
- Automated browsers and scripts announcing themselves as such
- Repeat zero-second bounces that never scrolled
- Addresses hitting several of our clients' ads in a day — click-farm behaviour
Each finding becomes an IP exclusion pushed straight into your Google Ads campaigns, with the evidence kept so an invalid-click credit can be claimed from Google when a pattern is clear. Exclusions expire on their own, and shared mobile-carrier addresses — thousands of real people behind one number — are never blocked on the address alone. You see every block, and why, in your dashboard. It replaces the click-fraud subscription most agencies bill you for separately.
How an engagement works
- Keyword and budget research. We mine your Search Console and Analytics data, then map high-intent and low-competition keywords to a budget that makes sense for your market — before you spend a dollar.
- Competitor intelligence. We analyze your competitors' ad history, average cost-per-click, and estimated click volume, so your campaigns launch knowing what you are up against.
- Ad creation and testing. Multiple ad variants per group with call, callout, and sitelink extensions — tested against each other, not guessed at.
- Ongoing optimization. Bid management, schedule adjustments, and negative keywords, tracked against your target cost per lead and ticket value in reports you can actually read.
The commitment model: a flat monthly management fee, three-month initial commitment, month-to-month after that. No long-term contracts. Landing pages are available as an add-on when your existing site can't do the campaign justice — and we can make minor tweaks to any site, even ones we didn't build.
Paired with local SEO, ads get cheaper over time
The clients with the best ad economics are the ones whose organic presence grows underneath the campaigns. As map-pack rankings improve, ads narrow to the keywords and neighborhoods where organic has not won yet — same lead volume, shrinking spend. That is the plan we run: ads for speed now, SEO for economics later, one team watching both.
Frequently asked questions
What budget do I need for Google Ads?
It depends on your market and trade, but most of our local service clients run productive campaigns between $1,000 and $3,000 per month in ad spend. We would rather tell you a realistic number on the consultation than burn budget proving a point.
Do you take over my existing account or start fresh?
We audit what exists first. Account history has value — if your campaigns have usable structure and conversion data, we build on it rather than starting from zero.
How do you keep spend from being wasted?
Two layers. Before the click: every search term that triggered your ad is reviewed in our platform and the ones that were never going to become jobs — competitor names, wrong city, wrong service, job seekers, DIY — become negative keywords continuously, with geo-targeting audited against your real service area. After the click: Click Shield records every visitor who arrived from an ad and excludes repeat clickers, bots, and datacenter or VPN traffic from your campaigns automatically.
What is Click Shield?
Our click-fraud protection, built into the platform. A click is billed the instant it happens, so no tool can stop one — Click Shield makes sure the same bad actor is never billed to you again. It watches who arrives from your ads, flags repeat clicks, bots, hosting and VPN addresses, and zero-second bounces, pushes those addresses into your Google Ads exclusions, and keeps the evidence for an invalid-click credit claim. It replaces the click-fraud subscription most agencies bill separately, and you see every block and the reason for it in your dashboard.
How fast will I see leads?
Search ads produce calls within days of launch. The first month is about volume; the following months are about lowering the cost of each lead as data accumulates.
Will I be able to see what you're doing?
Yes. You get dashboard access with campaign performance, and we review spend, calls, and cost-per-lead together on a regular cadence.
